The District may be able to provide documents that students can use in support of the following criteria:
A. Came to the United States before reaching 16th birthday,
B. Applicants must be at least 15 years old to request DACA unless the applicant is currently in removal proceedings or has a final removal order or voluntary departure order and is not in immigration detention. Verification of an existing removal order will be required.
C. Have continuously resided in the United States since June 15, 2007 for students
with later birthdates and partial years for older students,
D. Are currently enrolled in school, have graduated, or obtained a certificate of
completion from high school.
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) will accept the following documentation
for the above criteria:
A. School records (transcripts, report cards, etc.) from the school currently attending
or attended, showing the name(s) of the school(s) and periods of school attendance
and the current educational or grade level.
B. U.S. high school diploma or certificate of completion;
C. Any other relevant document.
